How to love your Tutu.

When your tutu arrives, hang it up by the little ribbon hangers on the sides, and cover with a garment cover.

A week before the tutu’s are due to be worn, take it out of the packaging and give them a little fluffing up.

Hold the waistband with one hand and gently comb with your fingers starting from the inside and work out.

Mind out for any sharp fingernails and rings when fluffing the skirts.

If your bows need a bit of TLC, please reshape with your fingers and they should bounce back to like or iron on a VERY LOW SETTING…… Please be careful not to burn.

  • Hang it and then fluff it. Hold the waistband with one hand and gently comb with your fingers starting from the inside and work out.

  • Sponge and lay flat ONLY! Your Tutu doesn’t like a washing machine.

  • If your tutu has become wrinkly, hang in the bathroom and run a hot shower for 5-10mins so the wrinkles drop out

  • Fluff and finger comb your tutu, and store in a protective garment case for a longer life.

How do I clean my Tutu & Bow?

Please do NOT machine wash or dry your tutu or bows. The tulle can get stretched and pulled ruining the shape and size of your tutu. If your tutu or bow is dirty please gently sponge it and lay flat to dry.

Sponge clean only!

How to get the wrinkles out.

If your tutu is wrinkly or losing its fluff, hang up, hold the waistband and comb out the tulle with your fingers working from the inside out. If your tutu is extra wrinkly, hang in the bathroom and run a hot shower for 5-10 minutes to let the wrinkles steam out.

If you own a clothes steamer you can use that too. However, please do NOT use steam directly on the tutu as it will cause heat damage.

You can also half fill a bottle of fabric conditioner and fill the other half with tepid water and spray onto the tutu.

Gently rake your hands through the tulle as you are spraying. Only use white fabric conditioner, not coloured as this may stain the tulle.

Do NOT soak the tutu.

How to store your Tutu.

After each use, please fluff by combing it with your fingers from inside to out. Then either hang and place in a garment cover or neatly fold it away in your storage box and keep in a dry and dark place to maximise it’s lifespan… so it “lives happily ever after”

Your Tutu will arrive in this gorgeous storage box.
